Show inursaay, nay is' SOCIETY SURPRISE PARTY Steve Bellon was guest of honor at a surprise party at his home on May 14. The event commemorated his birthday anniversary. an-niversary. A centerpiece of gladiolas lent charm to the table setting at which places were marked for Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mohlman, Mr. "and Mrs. J. J. Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Marvel Nielson, Mr. 'and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, Mr. and Mrs. Mont Killian, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Bellon and Bill Nelson. BRIDGETTE Mrs. Mont Killian was hostess to members of the Bridgette club at a delightful dessert luncheon at her home on Thursday, Thurs-day, May 15. Her guest list included in-cluded Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, ! Mrs. Jack Mohlman, Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Mrs. Bennie Schmiett, Miss Karma Dee Harmston, Mrs. Steve Bellon, Mrs. Marvell Nielson, Mrs. J. J. Cook, Mrs. Clem Labrum. Mrs. Bill Mur-dock, Mur-dock, Mrs. Albert Curtis and Mrs. Ned Bellon. Mrs. Labrum won the prize for high score; Mrs. Rawlings, slam; Miss Harmston, honors; and Mrs. Murdock, low. FRIDAY BRIDG E Spring flowers, beautifully arranged, ar-ranged, formed the decorations when Mrs. C. L. Ashton enter- at her home on May 16. A tempting dessert luncheon was 'featured with covers laid for Mrs. R. S. Following luncheon tables were arranged for bridge with prizes going to Mrs. Harrison, Mrs. Chamberlain, Mrs. Orser, ,'Mrs. Marimon and Mrs. Mullins. :MRS. WISCOMBE HONORED I Mrs. Margaret Wiscombe was honored guest Ot a handkerchief shower sponsored by the Dauglv ters of Utah Pioneers, Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at the home of Mrs. Tina Wilkins. Mrs. Wilkins, Mrs. Lila Nickell, Mrs. Clara Timothy and Mrs. Olive Harrison Harri-son acted as hostesses. i Delicious light refreshments were served to twenty-two guests, after which the balance of the afternoon was spent playing play-ing contest games. Piano interludes inter-ludes Were played by Mrs. Lila Labrum. Mrs. Wiscombe plans to leave Roosevelt the latter part of the month to make her home in Salt Lake Citv. NEIGHBORHOOD" SEWING CLUB A delectable dessert supper was featured when Mrs. Joe Rawlings entertained members of Neighborhood Sewing club at her home last Wednesday evening. eve-ning.
