Show National Forest Timber For Sale Sealed bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor, Vernal, Ver-nal, Utah, up to and including June 9, 1947, lpr all merchantable merchan-table dead timber standing and down and all live timber marked oror designated for cutting on an area of approximately 230 acres within Sections 33 and 34, T. 3 N;, R. 1 E., U.S.M., Mosby Park Chance of the Dry Fork Creek and Whiterocks River Compart-iments, Compart-iments, Working Circles No.. 2 and 3, Ashley National Forest, Utah, estimated to be 400 M feet b. m., more or less, of lodgepole pine and Engleman spruce saw-timber saw-timber and 300 M linear feet, more or less, of lodgepole pine timber suitable for mine props. No bid of less than $3.00 per M feet b. m. for sawtlmber and $5.00 per M linear feet for mine prop timber will be considered. In addition to making payments for stumpage the purchaser will be required to make an additional addition-al deposit of $0.15 per M feet b. m. and per M linear feet, for the total cut of sawtimber and mine I prop timber respectively, to be deposited into a cooperative work fund to pay for the cost of timber stand improvement work, and $0.10 per M feet b. m., and per M linear feet, for the total cut of sawtimber and mine prop timber respectively, to be deposited de-posited into a cooperative work fund to pay fox the cost of slash disposal work. At the time of submitting bids, $300,000 payable pay-able to the Treasurer of the United Unit-ed States must accompany each bid, to be applied on the purchase pur-chase price, refunded, or retained retain-ed in part as liquidated damages according to conditions of sale. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. Before bids are submitted, full information concerning con-cerning the timber, conditions of sale, and submission of bids should be obtained from the Forest For-est Supervisor, Vernal, Utah, or" District Forest Ranger, White-rocks, White-rocks, Utph- First PubtoUon; May 8. 1047 Second Publication, May 22, 1947 |
