Show This -72 - ILt Last week we got talking about the Bendix automatic washer, and I had to stop before I mentioned how they save on soap, on; water and wear on clothes. I kinda stuck my neck out tho, because as some women said to me, "the Bendix is swell where you have hot and cold water and sewage, but what about' all of us wno have washings wash-ings to do every week and don't have all of those conveniences?" That struck me as a fair question, ques-tion, so I went into J. V. McLea, Inc. and put the question to them. Their answer showed me they have anticipated and made ready to take care of all washing machine needs. McLca's are distributors for the well known Dexter washers, another really outstanding line and one that has proven to the people of the Basin area that it will stand up and' deliver satisfaction. satis-faction. Dexter washers come in the regular single tub, as do other makes of machines, but where they have an exclusive, is in the twin tub washer. No oilier company can make a machine of this type, and believe me it is some machine. . . It takes up but little more room than a single tub and gives you the speed anc washing capacity of two ma chines. The cost of operation i. the same as a single tub, since one motor does the work. Surprising, Sur-prising, too, there is less wear o' the motor on a Dexter Twin Tu' than there is on a single tub machine. .A comparative ex ample of what I mean is sho'.v by carrying two buckets of v. ter, one in each hand; th? sain balance action works on lh. motor of the Dexter Twin, Of course every woman. knows, too, what a swell washing wash-ing can be done in the new Dex-ters, Dex-ters, with the big agitators, and how thoroughly and easily the balloon wringers wring the water from the clothes. "Before any of you women decide de-cide upon a washer, go to J. V, McLea's and see these fine Dexter Dex-ter washers. ' Adv. |
