Show BQVS ESCAPE BUT IE SOI CAUGHT Willie Neuteboom, 15, and Albert Jensen, 16, two boys from the State Industrial school, were caught last night in the brush near the Smith Mattress Mat-tress factory after they had escaped from the school. The boys were found by Sergeant Blackburn and Patrolman James Hearn when the officers went to th'o factory in response to a message mes-sage from a neighbor that two men had been seen skulking about in the brush near tho building. After the officers left the station, a call was sent from the school to the police that tho boys had escaped and to watch for them. Tho police hunted about In tho vicinity of" the factory for somo time and finally found the two boys lying flat in the weeds, and recognized them as Industrial school inmates from, their clothes, but did not know they had recently escaped. The boys could not give a satisfactory account ac-count of themselves, however, so the officers took them to the city jail. When they arrived they learned that the boys had escaped. .nn. |
