Show The In ter. n os Club. The Inter-nos Literary and Social Club gave a very creditable charade last evening, even-ing, entitled "The llegister." The spacious spa-cious parlors of Captain Hooper's residence resi-dence afforded admirable facility for the performance, and a goodly number of invited friends were present. Miss Grace oung, Miss Margie Dwyer, Miss Alice Hooper, Mr. Jos. E. Caine and Mr. John W. Campbell made up the company of performers, and the piece, which is a cleverly-woven love plot, with lots of .m- preciative humor in it, was acted very capably by all. Miss Young and Mr. Came had the leading roless, and surprised sur-prised their friends considerably by the display of real excellent dramatic ability and aptitude. Miss Hooper gave a de-h.Shtful de-h.Shtful hop after the performance, and the dining parlors were made attractive by the presence of sumptuous refreshments, refresh-ments, which were served in admirable style. Something over fifty guests participated parti-cipated m the evening's enjoyment, and went away delighted. |
