I Notice No. 1,371 : United States Land Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, October 28, 1885. i NOTICE is HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE JlN "Cariboo Mining Co.," by its President 1 and duly authorized agent, R. Alff, whose post-office post-office address is Salt Lake City, Utah, has made . application for a United States Patent for the Sunshine mining claim, situate in American 3 Fork Mining District, Utah County, i:tah Ter- ritory, consisting of 1,500 linear feet of the lode, F j and surface ground 560.86 feet wide, being Lot I No. 77. and described in the field notes and I I nlttt of the official survey on file in this office. f with magnetic variation at 16 degrees 30 min- J utes east, as follows: Commencing at the discovery dis-covery point, thence 8 31 degrees W 400 feet, thence N 75 degrees, 40 minutes W 318.6 feet to Post No. 1; thence S 75 degrees 40 minutes E 637.6 feet to Post No. 2; tneuce N 34 degrees E 376.3 feet to Post No. 3; thence N 2 degrees 54 minutes E 1122.8 ieet to Post No. 4; thence N 75 degrees 40 minutes W 612 feet to Post No. 5; thence S 2 degrees 54 minutes W 10"7.2 feet to Post No. 6; thence S 34 degrees W 423.7 feet to Post No. 1, the place of beginning of exterior boundaries, containing an area of 20.68 acres, from which the area in conflict with the "Utah" lode is expressly excepted and excluded; leaving leav-ing an area of l'J.48 acres applied for. v From center of the north end line of claim - " U. 3. M. M. No. 1 bears south 27 degrees 21 minutes min-utes east 5,723 feet distant. The said mining claim being of record in the office of the recorder re-corder of said Mining District, at Forrest City, in Utah County, Utah. The nearest known locations lo-cations being "Anna," "Utah" and "First Chance." I direct that this notice be published in the Salt Lake Evening Democrat, the newspaper published nearest the said mining claim, for the period of sixty days. II. McMASTER, Register. T. C.
