Show WON'T GO TO NEVADA. The Virginia (Nev.) Chronicle takes no stock in the very thin story recently telegraphed tele-graphed all over the country to the effect that the Mormons contemplated moving over the line from Utah into Nevada in such numbers as to enable them to capture cap-ture the political control of that commonwealth, common-wealth, and then, from behind State lines, show their contempt for the General Government Gov-ernment in openly continuing the unlawful unlaw-ful practices which have characterized their conduct in this and other Territories. The Chronicle says "the Mormons will not move into Nevada en masse. Be-sidesj Be-sidesj they have too much at stake in Utah-- The fight will be finished there. Sooner or later the Saints will have '& revelation against theocracy and polyga my, and then the end will come." The Chronicle is correct. The Saints have altogether too much at stake to make it possible for them to seriously contemplate any such move, and the fight between them and the General Government Gov-ernment will undoubtedly be fought to a finish right here in Utah. If an exodus has been or is contemplated at all, it will be of the polygamous element only, and the new Zion will not be located in United States territory. There is no ground for fear that the Mormons have j their eye upon the State of Nevada, for ' they must know that, even were they entrenched en-trenched behind the lines of a State under un-der their political control, they would never be permitted to continue in those practices which are abhorred of all civilized civil-ized nations, and the indulgence in which has brought upon them so much trouble in this and other Territories.
