New sign company opens in Woods Cross location By CHERIE HUBER Accuform West opened in April in Woods Cross. The firm makes signs for industry use, including DOT and other warning and information infor-mation signs. Accuform began in Brooksville, Fla. eleven years ago and has been serving industry needs for the entire en-tire country from that office. Accuform Accu-form West was formed to serve the western half of the United States including Alaska and Hawaii, and its signs are also used in Mexico. The signs are made in the Woods Cross plant. The plant has facilities for embossing on plastic, silk screening, engraving and die cutting. cut-ting. Companies can order from one to thousands of custom made signs, labels and safety tags. Many of the signs contain information infor-mation on hazardous materials. "Every time OSHA makes a new regulation, for example the new asbestos warnings, the industry indus-try needs more signs from Accuform Accu-form West," says Accuform West President Milt Christensen of Bountiful. President is Ron Johnson John-son of Brooksville, Florida and Joan Christensen is secretary-treasurer secretary-treasurer of the company. |
