Show ATNjjiojni Application for Patent. Notice No. 1,339. United States Land Office, Salt Lake Citt, Utah, October 13, 1885. "VrOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SIMON ll Bamberger, of Salt Lake City, Utah, has made application for a United States patent for the Sovereign No. 2 mining tlaim, situate in ' Ophir Mining District, Tooele county, Utah Territory, consisting of 575.5 linear feet of the lode, and surface ground 270 feet wide being Lot No. 157 and described in the field notes and plat of the official survey on file ia this office, with magnet is variation at 16 degrees de-grees 40 minutes east, as follows: Commencing at post No. 1, a corner of the ciaiut, and running thence south 50 degrees 30 minutes west 358.7 feet to post No. 2, from which U. S. Mineral J Monument No. 6 bears north 48 degrees 12 min- utes west l,049.5feet distant, thence south I i degree 40 minutes west 575.5 feet to post No. 3, thence north 50 degrees 30 minutes east 358.7 feet to post No. 4, thence north 1 degree 40 minutes min-utes east 575.5 feet to post No. 1, the place of beginning of exterior bounds: the area elaimed being 3.567 acres. No conflicts. The said mining claim beingof record in the office of the Recorder of said mining district at Ophir City, in Tooele county, Utah. The nearest known locations being Sovereign, Lot 155; Selah, Lot 148, and Weston, Let 109, claims In said mining district. -I direct that this notice be published In the Salt Lake Evening Democrat, the newspaper published nearest the said mining claim, for the period of sixty days.
