Whitte-more Whitte-more to Miss Sarah L. Brown, both of this city.. The marriage took place at the bride's home, corner of Sixth South and Second East streets, and was witnessed by quite a number of relatives and intimate inti-mate friends, among whom were: Mrs. Whittemore, Miss Whittemore, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Stevens, Miss Ferguson, Miss Kimball, Miss Keate, Miss Felt, Miss Berry, Miss Dewey, Mr. McAllister, Mr Bates, Mr. R. Whittemore, Mr. Lusby, and others. At about 11 o'clock all were ushered into the .dining room, and at this point the Democrat representative repre-sentative stopped taking notes to indulge m an occupation more suited to his taste. The Democrat is hearty in extending its wishes for a long life of matrimonial happiness to the young couple, a wish m which their hosts of friends will sincerely join. - |
