Show In the Senate and the House. Washington, November 26. The Architect Archi-tect of the Capitol and the officers of both Houses have ordered the Capitol building draped in mourning out of respect to the ueath of the Vice-President. About twenty Senators assembled about 11 o'clock this morning, upon the invitation of Senator Edmunds, in the judiciary committee commit-tee room of the Senate, to select a committee commit-tee to - . BEPBESENT THE SENATE AT THE FUNEBAL Of the Vioe-President. The following were selected: Senators Edmunds, Sherman, Harris, Allison, Voorhees, Pugh, Cul-lom, Cul-lom, Gibson, Conger, Blair, Dawes, Camden and Vest. Most of the Senators named, in addition to the following, were present: Senators Logan, Morrill, Waltham, Dolph, Van Wyck, Morgan, Jones, of Arkansas, Berry, Cookrell and Ransom. There were expressions of sorrow on ail hands, but in view of the near approach of the meeting of the Senate, no formal eulogistic speeches I were made. The chairman of the meeting, Senator Edmunds, and Sergeant-at-Arms Canady were authorized to make the necessary neces-sary arrangements for the transportation and entertainment of the committee.. A meeting of about twenty-five members of the House was held in the Speaker's room, at which the Clerk of the House was authorized author-ized to request the attendance at the funeral of the following members as BEPBESENTATTVES OF THE HOUSE : ' Carlisle, Eandall, Hiscock, Long,' Phelps Hepburn, Browne, Bynam, Morrison, Hol-man, Hol-man, Herbert, Blunt, Barbour, Hewett and Geddes. General Clark notified by telegraph tele-graph those of the gentlemen named who are not in the city, of. their selection and requesting re-questing their attendance. THE CABINET MEETING TO-DAY. Washington, November 27. A meeting of the Cabinet was held to-day and arrangements arrange-ments made for the President and Cabinet to attend the funeral of the late Vice-President Hendricks on Tuesday next. Indianapolis, November 27. All the publio pub-lio buildings here are covered with emblems of mourning and flags are displayed at half-mast half-mast all over the city, and the citizens generally gen-erally are doing everything that suggests itself it-self to make the occasion of the death of Vice-President Hendricks appropriate and fitting. Mrs Hendricks Hen-dricks is almost prostrated from grief and exhaustion, and her physicians have given orders that she should see nobody unless there is an emergency' " . R, A.
