| Show I CHAMBER OF COMMERCE There will be a meeting at the Federal Court room next Saturday evening for the purpose of taking steps towards the organization of a Chamber of Commerce Many of our most prominent businessmen business-men have interested i themselves in the movement and the indications are favorable favor-able for the organization of a body which will materially advance the business interests in-terests of the city and Territory It is proposed to make it essentially a business busi-ness institution where no political or religious re-ligious matters will be discussed and it is to be hoped that all persons connected with the business interests of the city will attend the meeting and participate par-ticipate actively in the proceedings proceed-ings There is plenty of material here for a firstclass institution of the kind and plenty of work for it to do There is no city in the West of the size and importance of Salt Lake without such an organization the advantages of which are manifold and apparent The movement should not be allowed to lag but it should be pushed onward to successful completion |
