| Show COMMUNICATED EDITOR DEMOCRAT In your issue of the 16th inst I notice the suggesstions made in regard to the Democrats calling a Territorial convention having for its object ob-ject the selection and endorsement of competent persons to fill the respective Federal offices in this Territory that will soon be vacated by the present incumbents incum-bents In presenting your suggestions to many Democrats I find them unanimous i on the subject and trust that the matter I will not only meet the views of all but be carried into effect at the earliest period We want men that are competent and honest to fill these offices respectively but not the offices to fill the men Agitate the subject as much as possible to a final and successful issue through your valuable valua-ble DEMOCRAT DEMOCRAT SALT LAKE CITY March 17th 1885 I |
