| Show Moving Out by Piecemeal The colony of six thousand exhibitors connected with the exposition says aNew a-New Orleans telegram to the New York i Sun is constantly in a turmoil If the exhibitors are not holding meetings and passing resolutions reflecting on the capacity ca-pacity and fitness of Mr Mullen who has charge of the tickets then they are marching in a body through the gates in defiance of the rules and the police One exhibitor here is slowly removing his stock from tlie main building without the knowledge of the authorities There are many firms having stands in the main building who would pay literally to be allowed to close up and go home The expense of keeping several clerks here and the formerly small attendance discouraged dis-couraged them and they were anxiousto withdraw and close their stands The young man who is removing his goods will be well out and well away before Sunday For more than a month he has been steadily at work carrying away a little every day in a paper bag Or a hand satchel The few bits of furniture at his stand have been sold to other exhibitors and he bids fair to get clear without losing los-ing anything at all There may be many more doing the same thing though no cases have yet been reported |
