Golden and Norcne Barton has received re-ceived an LDS mission call to Guatemala City, Guatemala. Her farewell will be held in the Mueller Park Stake House, 1800 E. Mueller Park Road, Bountiful at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 14. Nanette enters the MTC on June 17. ELDER SCOTT ELDER Scott Elder, son of Ferron and Shirley Elder, recently returned after af-ter serving two successful years in the Guatemala City, Guatemala Mission. He will be reporting his mission June 14 at 10:50 a.m. at the Bountiful Bounti-ful 13th Ward Chapel, 1356 N. 650 E. ELDER HANSEN Elder Russell Lamar Hansen, son of Lamar J. and Elaine R. Hansen, Han-sen, has accepted a call to serve as a missionary in the Tahiti Papeete Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His farewell will be held this Sunday, June 14 in the Bountiful 3 1st Ward, 585 E. Center, at 9 a.m. He enters the MTC June 17. Russell is a 1986 graduate of Viewmont High School, where he was president of the band. He graduated gra-duated from Seminary and was a member of the singing group, "The Gift." He has been attending the LDS Institute and the University of Utah, studying architecture and playing in the marching band. He is an Eagle Scout. Friends and family are invited to visit with Russell anytime in his home on Sunday, at 80 S. 700 E. ELDER WEEKS Elder Eric N. Weeks, son of E. Nordell and Carol Weeks, has accepted a call to serve in the Japan Fukuoka Mission. Eric isa 1986 graduate of Bountiful Bounti-ful High School. He attended Brigham Young University this past year. His farewell will be held Sunday , June 14 at 5:10 p.m. in the Bountiful Bounti-ful 50th Ward Chapel, 540 N. 1200 E. Zafra, son of Robert D. and Anita Zafra, has been called to serve in the Spain, Barcelona mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will enter the MTC June 17. Manuel graduated from Woods Cross High in 1986. His farewell will be Sunday, June 14 at the Bountiful East 17th Ward at 11 a.m., located at 2200 S. 600 E., Bountiful, y , An open house will be held at his home Aug. 3 from.6-9 p,m ' ELDER HOWARD Elder Rory Howard, son of DceLynn and Pam Howard, has returned re-turned home after serving a two year mission in the California San Jose Mission. He will speak in Sacrament meeting on June 14 at 9 a.m. in the Centerville 13th Ward Chapel at 610 Rowland Way in Centerville. Hicks, son of Dennis De-nnis and Kay Hicks, Woods Cross returned home Tuesday, June 9 after af-ter serving 25 months in the California Cali-fornia Sacramento Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. Daren will report his mission experiences ex-periences June 14 at 4:20 p.m. in the Woods Cross 2nd Ward Chapel 790 W. 1500 S., Woods Cross. Family and friends are invited to attend. P: ELDER GARFF f.Elder John Kendall Garff has been called to serve in the Canada, Toronto Mission. He will be honored at a Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting held June 14 at the North Canyon 4th Ward, 965 E. pakwood, Bountiful, at 9 a.m. ! John is a graduate of Woods Cross High where he served as student stu-dent body president. He is attending attend-ing the University of Utah. He is Jhe son of Robert and Katharine Garff. '- John plans to attend Cambridge University upon his return from Toronto where he will join his family fami-ly who have been called to serve in the England Coventry Mission. He will enter the MTC June 20. |
