Show J r- r Ballet Pallet Under Older the Stars to Shine This Weekend By Philip Dean Beck Becki i AE ME Editor r This weekend The Ballet Center of Murray will present its it's annual Ballet Under the Stars at the Murray park amphitheatre The program is part of the Murray City Arts in the Park Concert Series a string of theatrical theatrical theatrical the the- and musical performances running through the second of September The Ballet Center is one of the valleys valley's finest schools of ballet providing providing providing pro pro- viding full professional training to young hopefuls and teaches adult classes as well Under the artistic direction of Michelle Armstrong guest artists and upper class students from The Center will display their technical and artistic abilities in a varied potpourri potpourri pot pot- potpourri pourri of ballet contemporary and folk pieces A great deal of time and effort has been put into the preparation of this show as is reflected in the whole production pro pro- production from the exquisite costumes to the ability displayed by the artistic staff and dancers The sh show w opens with a piece entitled entitled entitled Irish Dream choreographed by Michelle Armstrong to the music of Hamilton Hardy and Arthur Sullivan This exciting dance combines intricate intricate intricate cate footwork with dynamic music to toL L- L create an exciting and vivacious feel- feel E I I.
