At the northeast end of : Smoot Park, the city has drilled a well that is one of the r largest water producers in Utah. The well is 592 feet deep : and has a maximum pumping capacity of 2,300 gallons per minute. This fall a pump house will be built, and the city will begin to use the well water in the spring. "This well is five 5 times the capacity of other Centerville wells," Mr. Randall - said. |
