Show Its It's All Greek to Me Opens at Desert Star By Amanda Nielson Entertainment Editor Desert Star Playhouse gave an enthusiastic performance last Saturday night of Hercules Its All Greek ToMe It starts out with Hercules Rick I Miller who was a former fonner Mr Utah battling a lion that is the peace in the country In turn he is given Princess Julie Ann Christensen hand in marriage by her father Scott Holman Hercules has a sidekick Philo Nick Bruun who doesn't want to believe in the love stuff until he sees Amy Mattress The villain of this play is a power hungry Queen Medea Alison Henriksen Henrik- Henrik sen who wants her son Diomedes Jesse Dolce to marry the Princess so he can take control of the kingdom This play is presented in such a away away away way as to keep the audience entertained entertained entertained enter enter- and laughing They took Greek mythology and intertwined modern humor such as Titanic jokes but they used them too much and they got old The acting wasn't the best I have seen but it was ok The best part of the evening was the Olio of Saturday Night This included song dance and sketches from the seventies Some of the songs used were Dancing Dancing Dancing ing Queen YMCA Copacabana bana Piano Man and I Will Sur Sur- vive In all it would be a fun idea for dinner and play it runs through June 13 Just one piece of advice be on time r p t L i. i I I r r A 4 44 4 5 4 wL At 4 ry V Photo by Rolf Kay Hercules played by Rick Miller with his sidekick Philo played by Nicholas D.
