Show ti Sports i y Spring In tram urals rr b by Brett Falk The spring spring intramural intramural season is at the halfway point with the past week being the busiest thus far The golf were held on Wednesday and the Home Run Derby was yesterday The results of these contests will be reported next week in the paper In the 1 on 1 basketball tournament Chris Balling defeated Rog Roger r Hampton on Wednesday by a score of 30 Hampton was able to make his way into the finals by upsetting the favored Kevin Struthers 32 However Balling used his height advantage to contain Hampton and take the championship concluding an exciting two weeks of basketball Furthermore the second annual Fun Walk Run will be held on Friday May The entry fee will be three dollars or four dollars if you register on the day of the race Each participants fee will include a T-shirt T and a chance to win other prizes The starting point will be west of the College Center and the distance will be a 15 mile walk or a 30 mile run Starting time will be 1145 Registration is taking place right now in the T ACCO Building The softball season is a little over halfway through the season and the standings as of 5 13 are as follows 1130 league 1 30 league Graduates 3 0 Soles r t. t 2 0 3 1 Angels 1 Slammers 2 1 Loners 2 0 v Hotshots 4 0 For further information concerning any intramural activity contact Campus Recreation or call |
