Show blanding woman injured in auto accident by blanding correspondent parents of miss aliss rhoda jane nielson mr and mrs joseph L nielson were very alarmed to receive a phone call from denver tuesday stating that their daughter rhoda jane had been quite seriously injured in an automobile accident monday evening aug 10 she suffered a fractured leg head and knee lacerations she was treated at colorado general hospital and transferred to mercy hospital miss nielson was traveling from salt lake city to denver with paul williams a cousin of her brother in law lyman ballif she had gone to meet a girl friend from ft collins Coll inSi colo when they at denver too late to find hotel accommodations for miss nielson her companion decided to take her to ft collins a distance of 50 or 60 miles As they started to go after waiting for a red light they looked up just in time to see a car coming at them but they were unable to do anything about it it hit the side where rhoda jane was sitting and practically demolished the car mr williams was treated for foi face cuts at colorado general hospital and released blanding people who attended markt week in denver called to see the patient and report that she is doing very nicely her spirits are good and she feels very lucky to be alive after she saw the condition of the car she is in a cast from her waist down but the doctor thinks by the time school starts she will be able to have a smaller r cast put on and will be able io to go on with her school teaching |
