Show bluff news by PAULINE HAYES we had one of the heaviest rainfalls rain falls recorded here in years last wednesday when inches fell within a few hours there was no damage however except several washouts wa shouts on the road mrs E M johnson nee vena nielson returned to bluff the first of the week she expects to remain here with her family a few weeks while her husband is confined to camp at an officers training school in georgia mrs frances miller came home monday after having been in the northern part of the state several weeks for medical attention joseph left friday to join his family in moab where they will reside this winter mrs janet blake and children of monticello visited at the F A nielson home the first of the week her small daughter received quite a serious injury to her hand while here which necessitated their returning home for medical attention mrs eva johnson and son clarence made a business trip to blanding on wednesday mrs dorothy adams the county supervisor of schools visited our school last thursday miss madge klayes hayes came down from blanding for the weekend week end father liebler and miss helen sturges of the st christopher mission made a business trip to shiprock new mexico saturday mrs myrtle hunt left saturday f for or salt lake where she will spend a few days john johnson spent saturday morning in blanding on business editors note this is our last news from bluff for a while inasmuch as our correspondent I 1 pauline hayes left monday for a few weeks stay in new york city she will be the guest of mrs baxter liebler the wife of father liebler of the st christopher mission while there |
