Show MURAL SCOUTING SESSIONS TO BE HELD 0 H benson arrived saturday from new york city preparatory ao 40 conducting rural scouting sessions in utah rians nans are now complete for a large council meeting 0 no o be held in the richfield taber macle july 20 at p m in which mr benson will speak and S give WG help to rural leaders on Wali cies of the boy scouts of america in connection with rural eife mr benson is enthusiastic enthusiast about the rural life of utah and As as an expert in agricultural pur he was the tha originator of the 4 H club program in tho united states mr benson is an influential speaker and always has hag fine contributions to make special invitation is extended to the general public as well as to scout leaders church leaders and 4 H club workers to antei attend this meeting I 1 the mt gos and mt nebo camps were held last week with an attendance of about 40 scouts A fine spirit was developed in scouting and much interest was di spayed by the scouts themselves commencing july a camp will be held in the uintah basin at pole canyon and at sevier valle at bioche above salina scouts in these vicinities estimated at about will participate chief A A anderson will be in charge of the uintah camp assisted by B glen smith kenneth anderson the forest service and fish and game department representatives merrill Christo pherson will be in charge of the bioche camp assisted by dean holden verl dix on service and fish and game department represents j i ives tives A scouts will carry their awill own equipment and food and will par in a program of hiking hiki Ji fishing shing swimming campfire pro grams handicraft etc any troop of scouts in the council is invited to participate in any of the council camps the next camps to be held will be on july 23 to august I 1 at horseshoe flat in sanpete San pete and at fish creek in carbon county I 1 to rule self and subdue our pa pas S j is the moe mode praiseworthy I 1 because so few know how to do it |
