| Show change in camp superintendents camp superintendent W W west left saturday for his new assignment at the soil conservation service camp at price utah his transfer came after two years yea rs of outstanding work in this born pany while the camp has been in moab and mon Mont cello he succeeded mr kean griffith as superintendent in january 1938 and since his assignment here the projects and the camp have enjoyed a steady improvement due to his efforts mr west has built up the reputation of being the most cooperative man in camp he has taken a very active part in the educational and safety programs giving a goodly share of his leisure time to the advancement of the members of the company in these lines he has won the respect of every man in the company and therefore it is with regret that the camp sees him leave during the past few months he has been very active and instrumental in putting over the proposed soil conservation districts in san juan and grand counties and will return to this camp the latter part of this month for a two weeks stay in an effort to put the districts over mr A H shadier has been transferred from the camp in san ysidro N M to this camp and has taken over the supervision of the projects he comes highly recommended having served in 8 different camps in new mexico and arizona |
