Show COURT SESSION ATTRACTS MANY while other activities occupied time and thought the second annual court session was in progress adding to the transient population the county courthouse which houses the tax office the public library the relief agency and the farm security department as well as the other offices pertaining to county business was a busy place the past week A long drawn out jury case prolonged the session and attracted many out of town residents who were called to serve on the jury or who were otherwise connected with the calendar of events and court business so another week passes into history with its joys or disappointments as the happenings may affect those who are a part thereof with so much of turmoil in outer world affairs we who live in the lesser known and more thinly populated sections of the country have much to be thankful for as we live in closer touch with nature and have greater opportunity to enjoy the great open spaces than our city friends who may have greater wealth in terms of material benefits but who are so occupied with the material affairs I 1 of life that they have neither the time nor the desire toa to I 1 realize the greater benefits we may gain in a spiritual sense I 1 as we carry on the daily tasks we are given to do in these smaller communities |
