Show A VERY gentlemanly ANSWER we wish to compliment the power company on the very gentlemanly answers they give their customers these days jt it does not seem bad enough to give us the rotten service they are doing now but when they shut the power off completely in the middle of the day and they aro are asked when we can expect power again which seems it a reasonable question to us in view of the fact that if it is to be off for any length of time we could plan other work the answer received is if I 1 have to keep answering the phone you wont get it until night it would seem that it is about time for the directors of the company to make a housecleaning house cleaning an and get some help that could give service service at least they could get help that would know how to treat the public in a civil manner if the affairs of the company are beyond the board of directors then it might be a I 1 good thing to change the board and get some who not only had an ail interest in giving the public t good service but aou would id be directors in fact as well as name it is not the desire or object of this paper to lambaste the power company but when a company compan y charges the highest or one of the highest rates for its product in the state and then aives the poorest service for that money we feel the public has a right to not only complain but to demand and get better service |
