Show JILSOn EXHIBITS WATER COLORS If you are among those who haven't visited the Nilson Art Gallery Gal-lery to view the works of Utah born and Utah trained artist, Mary Kimball Johnson, make note they will be featured until Nov. 12 All the works, 19 in all, are water wa-ter colors, which medium has completely com-pletely absorbed the interest of the artist. It is interesting to see that the talent of Mary Kimball Johnson John-son is manifest in portraits as well as landscapes and still life. Loaned for the current show are three works, the portrait of Mrs. W. T. Nightingale, loaned by the Nightingales; Aspen on Boulder Mountain, loaned by Miss Cecil Wilson, and Portrait of Ellen, loaned by Mrs. M. Bessie, Stockton, Stock-ton, Calif. Others included in the show are The Old Apple Tree, White Mountain Moun-tain at Alta. Mt. Olympus-Morning, Old Cheriesh Home, Boat Harbor, Har-bor, ortrait of Lorna, and Olive Tree and Sheep. |
