Show Society Emerson Ward Slates Carnival The Emerson LDS Ward annual Carnival is set for Thursday (tonight) (to-night) and Friday, August 9th and 10th at the Emerson school grounds at 6 p.m. The big affair will include lovely dinners served at 6 p.m., cafeteria style, and concessions and rides for the youngsters. Typical colorful and exciting carnival booths will provide cooked foods, handiwork and games for the evenings enjoyment. Six lovely girls, Judy Rae Seeg-miller, Seeg-miller, Marcia Ballard, Lucile De-Young, De-Young, Joyce Booth, Jean Gough, and Annabell Lund, will preside as Queens of the ward function. The public is invited and many valuable door prizes will be given during the two evenings. Sprague Library .... Mrs. C. K.
