Show U. of U. Summer Concert Set For Union Building The University of Utah Summer Symphony will present its annual an-nual summer concert Aug. 12, at 3 p.m. in the Union Building. The orchestra composed of 70 pieces of pre-college age instrumentalists, instru-mentalists, is co-sponsored by the University's Extension Division and Music Department and is the third season for the musical. Harold Wolf is director of the symphony and concert master of the Utah Symphony. During the late spring he toured the Far East as a guest member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic on a State Department sponsored good will tour. The program will include Schubert's Schu-bert's "Unfinished Symphony," the first movement from Tschaikos-ky's Tschaikos-ky's Symphony No. 6 ("Patheti-que"), ("Patheti-que"), and Caillet's transcription of Bach's "Little Fugue" in G Minor. The concert is free of charge; the public is cordially invited in-vited to attend. |
