The record will show that I kept this pledge and have maintained the type of government gov-ernment I promised." "My record in office is well established es-tablished and it is one of which I am proud. It is a record of honest and efficient administration with out breath of scandal; of debt-free years of balanced budgets ' and solvent operation; of tremendous construction and building activity unparalleled in Utah's history; of record support for education, welfare, wel-fare, and other essentials without burdensome tax increases; of cooperative co-operative effort in building a better bet-ter State; of, to use old-fashioned words, 'government of the people, by the people and for the people, with liberty, equality, and justice for all.' "The election campaign this year will be a rugged one because of the determined and bitter fight the Democrats obviously intend to make to wrest the governorship from the Republican party. If I am chosen to lead our State ticket, you are assured I will wage my usual vigorous campaign to win Republican success in November. Novem-ber.
