Show HU (SIM WEEK Extra Vote Offer Could Change Contest Picture The bars are up, the track is clear and fast, and all of the enterprising ent-erprising participants in the News Bulletin's big prize subscription contest have right-of-way to the goal of their hearts' desire!. The race for rich prizes headed by that shining new Ford Fairlane sedan, worth exactly $2975, has started off in earnest. In this issue is shown a list of contestants registered thus far, and their comparative standing in the race. It shows that there are some real "go-getters" in this area who do not stand on formality formal-ity but pitch right into the fray and get what is coming to them. BUT, many a race has been won by a "dark horse" and there is hidden strength back of several names further down the list. The leadership could change many times between now and the clos- ing day of Saturday, June 30. It's ANYBODY'S RACE! With honors almost equally divided thus far, it depends almost al-most entirely upon individual efforts ef-forts of each contestant during the next few days. This present week has been designated as "High Gear Week" during which time special ballots good for 12,500 EXTRA votes are being issued in addition to the regular scheduled votes given on each and every 5-ycar "full limit" subscription subscrip-tion to this community newspaper |
