Show Alardi Gras Set at College Westminster College . has set plans for the annual festivities of the Mardi Gras for Saturday, Feb. 26, 7:30 p. m. Sponsored by the Sigma Pi Alpha, Al-pha, honorary language fraternity, the theme is national in scope. Booths will provide foods from all countries. General chairman of the affair is Eddie Campos who will be assisted as-sisted by the I K's men's fraternity. frater-nity. The dance and music will be in charge of Nancy Johnson, Bill Lewis, June Slater, Alson Louie, and the floor show is under the direction of Don Lora. Concessions and booths will provide pro-vide the typical carnival fare including in-cluding such items as French pastry, Spanish tacos and coffee and sandwiches in the German booth. The fun boothes will provide entertainment en-tertainment of darts, auction, snow cones, confetti, basketball, kissing and marriage. The king will be chosen by votes and the queen will be his choice. The grand march will be in charge of Kathie Farikoff and Harry Chuck will arrange the student stu-dent assembly. Harry Inman and Sara Erick-son Erick-son will sell tickets and the decorations decora-tions for the gala affair will be planned by Charlotte Baird, Peggy Ebenstein and Bobby Adams. Setsu Ota and Jean Gerber are in charge of publicity. Prof. Myra Yancey of the language department assisted in arrangements. The public is invited. |
