Show WESTMINSTER CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES The second in a series of chamber cham-ber music programs presented by the Westminster College fine arts department will be held in Converse Con-verse hall Sunday, Feb. 27, at 3 p.m., William Bushnell, chairman, chair-man, announced. The string section of Westminster Westmin-ster College Community Symphony orchestra, conducted by Kenneth Kuchler, will perform on the program. pro-gram. The group will accompany four young Utah violinists in concerto con-certo performances. John Canepari, talented violinist, violin-ist, will be heard as soloist in the rediscovered Violin Concerto in D Minor by Mendelssohn. Carolyn Young, Ogden, will appear ap-pear in Vivaldi A Minor Cineerto, and Carolyn Gibson, also of Ogden, will perform the comparatively unknown un-known Torelli Concerto. Canepari and Anna Marie Salerno, Provo, will join in the solo parts of the Double Concerto in B Minor by William Boyce. Assisting Kuchler with the orchestra or-chestra are Ben Bullough and Walker Wallace. The public is invited. |
