Show Auxiliary Ladies End Korean Children Project The ladies auxiliary to the Veterans Vet-erans of Foreign Wars, Sugar House Post 3586, this week completed com-pleted their March project, "The Education of Korean Children." The ladies collected a maximum quota of pounds permitted through the mail of writing materials, pencils, crayons, wall paper samples sam-ples to be used for both cutouts and writing. The project was undertaken as a response to a plea for assistance in educating the Korean children from an American serviceman, Thomas S. Moore, stationed in Korea with Company C, 32nd In-, fantry Regiment. Mr. Moore began be-gan the project as a one-man detail and has since enlisted the aid of such public spirited organizations organ-izations as the Sugar House auxiliary. aux-iliary. Chairman of the project was Mrs. Betty Bradshaw, who was assisted by all the members of the chapter. |
