Show Train Employees i Tourists' Trade Is Important j To Utahns - Says Campbell Sugar House School Proposed John Campbell, state tourist and publicity council, was guest speaker speak-er of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce Wednesday. i "Importance of Tourist Trade ' to Citizens of Utah," was dis- 1 cussed by Mr. Campbell. j Mr. Campbell reported that in- creasing tourist business had resulted re-sulted from the advertising of the tourist council. The program was under the direction di-rection of the chamber tourist committee with Mr. H. A. Seiter, chairman. Mr. Seiter introduced his tourist committee who were honored guests at the luncheon. William Winder and Earl Garde-mann Garde-mann of the State Vocational Education Dept. announced that tourist school had been held throughout the state for employees employ-ees and the department would also conduct such a school in Sugar House. Purpose of the school would be to educate employees on the scenic attractions and interesting sections sec-tions of the state and acquaint them with tourist interests. C. G. "Neal" White, president who conducted the meeting, announced an-nounced that Thomas W. Jensen had been named as representative representa-tive in Washington, D. C. |
