Show EVEDSIIED TOPS JAYCEES IF! ELECTIQti Bob Evershed, 2751 Morgan Dr., was elected president of the newly organized Sugar House Jaycees. Evershed is credit manager of the Sugar House Finance Co. Elected as other officers for the year were Alan Smith, first vice president; George Henry Johnson, second vice president; Ray Gee, secretary; Richard Thorpe, treasurer, treas-urer, and Al Furse, state director. Dean Adams and Calvin Sorensen were elected directors The charter night will feature a banquet, a date to be in May, Evershed said. The first project of the new group was the sponsoring of the Olympus high school delegation to the junior legislature held Saturday Satur-day at the capitol. With much zeal, brawn and elbow el-bow grease the members of the new organization participated in the clean-sweep of the Sugar House area during the annual affair. Spearheaded by Al Furse, of W. P. Fuller Co., Wendell Wagstaff, Morrison Meat Pie, and Bob Ry-tting, Ry-tting, the membership turned out with vim and vigor to support the spring cleaning. The group has planned a luncheon lunch-eon for Thursday, April 28. |
