Show Dancing, Dancing Dancing Initial Leap Year Festival Held By Olympus J. H. Girls Especially invited are all boys and girls who have missed one of the series of instruction dances as well as he "regulars" for whom the dance will be a bonus. Also committees will be chosen for the final dance of the season, a St. Patrick's affair, Mrs. F. C. Biesele, secretary said. A mong the patrons will be Mr. and Mrs. Darwin L. Alsop representing repre-senting the Evergreen school. Sponsors of the dance series are the Holladay-East Mill Creek Youth Committee. The girl students of Olympus Junior high school set aside yesterday yes-terday as a Leap Year festival. Miss Elaine Cannon, Deseret News staff member, addressed the morning assembly while the afternoon assembly featured a girls'-choice dance held in the school's gymnasium where ' sys-temized sys-temized recording supplied the music. Te affair which was the first of its kind to be held at Olympus Junior high school was most entertaining en-tertaining and successful, it was reported. A make-up dance for the young set of Olympus and Evergreen Junior high schools will be held Saturday at Evergreen ward beginning be-ginning at 7:30 p. m. |
