Show "The Power of Speech" Forms The Theme for Cottonwood Festival The Cottonwood Stake Mutual speecfi and music festival, entitled en-titled this year "The Power of Speech," will be held Wednesday at the stake center at 7:30 p. m. Among the participants in the festival will be Wilna Wagstaff of Holladay First ward taking the part of the first narrator; Frank Moyle, Cottonwood Second ward, second narrator; Maurine Fish, Holladay First ward, voice of the Scripture; Shirene Kilpack, Holladay Hol-laday Second ward, Scriptural reader. Sharon Cahoon of Cottonwood Third ward will present a talk on Freedom while Neil Rasband of Cottonwood First ward will discuss dis-cuss "How My Work in the MIA Helped Me Gain a Stronger Tes-tamony Tes-tamony of the Gospel." "Clean Speech Is Becoming to a Child of God" is the topic on which Phyllis Quist of Holladay Third ward will ta(k. Steven Smith of Holladay First ward will discuss "The Power of Prayer in My Life." Participating in the music festival fes-tival will be youth choruses representing rep-resenting all the wards of the stake under the direction of Mrs. Jennie Woolf and Mrs. Dorothy 1 Cutler. fSTZ' y |
