Show 'Born Yesterday' Opens Utah U. Summer Theater The University of Utah Theatre will present a summer season at Playbox beginning with Garson Kanin's "Born Yesterday," a comedy in three acts, on Tuesday, Tues-day, June 19th to continue through Saturday, June 23rd, Robert Hyde Wilson, supervising director of Playbox announced recently. re-cently. "Born Yesterday" will be directed by Jay W. Lees, Theatre Arts director at Westminster College. Col-lege. Claire Maher and Fred Goerner, popular stars of past Playbox productions, will play the leading roles of Billie Dawn and Harry Brock. Carl Dern, another experienced actor of the University Uni-versity Theatre will play Paul Verrall, the reporter who attempts at-tempts to educate Billie Dawn so that she will be accepted by Washington, D.C. society, and help Brock with his political manipulations. manipu-lations.
