UTAH EDUCATION LOAD IS HEAVY Utah's elementary and secondary education load, as measured by the percentage of the total population enrolled in public schools, is third highest in the nation. During the 1949-50 school year 22.3 per cent of all Utah residents were enrolled In the state's elementary ele-mentary and secondary schools. This percentage was a third higher than the national average of 16.7 per cent. |
