Show LiriCOUl WARD DEDICATED AT CEREiOfilES Official dedication services were held for the Lincoln ward chapel yesterday afternoon at 5 p.m. Carl W. Buehner, member of the presiding presid-ing bishopric of the LDS church, was the principal speaker, offering both the dedicatory sermon and prayer. He was formerly president of Granite stake, of which Lincoln ward is a member. Oher speakers weret Former Bishops Willard B. Richards Jr. and C. Laird Snelgro've and Stake President Howard A. Allen. Stake Patriarch George A. Angerbauer offered the benediction. Musical selections were presented present-ed by Mary Alice Newton, Robert C Taylor, Pearl and Joy Trauffer, Marden . Moulton, Coleett Berger and Fay Roswell. Organized 24 years ago, Lincoln ward met in the chapel of the Granite Gran-ite Stake House until their separate chapel was completed in October, 1951. Bishop Walter Trauffer and counselors, Roland T. Parkin and Clarence G. Walker, arranged the dedication service. A brief history of the Lincoln ward and its officers appeared in last week's News-Bulletin and Bishop Trauffer ha 300 copies of the paper distributed to residents of the ward. |
