Show S. M. SOREFISEfl HOME SCENE OF STUDY GROUP AFFAIR Mrs. S. Morgan Sorensen, 5600 Holladay Boulevard, played hostess host-ess to the Cottonwood Study Group at her home on December 22, at their annual Christmas party. Buffet lunch was served from an elaborately decorated table centered with a music box which played carols. The group played "sub - for-Santa" for-Santa" for a family of six and all gifts were brought to the party and appropriately wrapped. Then came the unique gift exchange ex-change among the 20 members because be-cause the gifts were all "home made" including jams, jellies, aprons, pictures, ceramics, etc. Other members of the study group are Mrs. Arthur Jarvis, Mrs. Clyde F. Thompson, Mrs. Bert Christensen, Mrs. J. Holman Waters, Wa-ters, Mrs. Don Elggren, Mrs. Marion Steed, Mrs. F. T. Whitworth, Mrs. Roland Lett, Mrs Emil Smith, Mrs. Gene Tedesco, Mrs. Edward C. Judd, Mrs. Joseph Mallory, Mrs. Joseph Ottenheimer, Mrs. Scott E. Wetzel, Mrs. Fritz Eilers, Mrs. Hugh Barker, Mrs. J. H. Tempest, Jr., Mrs. Paul McFarland and Mrs. Frank F. Daughters. Lending a special atmosphere to the party as well as the yuletide season was the artistically decorated deco-rated Christmas tree of the Soren-sen's, Soren-sen's, which was the work of Mr. Sorensen. Color scheme was green and white with white lights which became green when lighted. Glittering Glit-tering white angels and white snowflakes graced the tree with all packages wrapped in green and tied with white iridescent ribbon, bedecked with matching miniature angels. |
