Anderson (right) of Salt Lake City, receives the gold oak leaves signifying his new rank from his wife, Lucy. Major Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Anderson, 324 E. v 17th So., is the Inspector general at Camp Zama, Japan. A veteran of 15 years of Army service, Major Anderson arrived in the Far East in June 1954. He holds the Silver Star, the Bronze Star Medal, the Commendation Ribbon and the Combat Infantryman Badge. He has also served in the European theatre. |
