Show Ford V-8 Fairlane; Cash Awards Given Many Subscribers Added During Contest For Bulletin E. R. Moss, with 3,529,600 votes, was declared winner of the 1956 Ford Fairlane sedan from Petty Motor Co. when the News Bulletin's Bul-letin's big subscription contest ended last Saturday. A close second sec-ond was Mrs. Goldie Despain, with 2,987,020 votes, and she received the second grand award of $750 cash. Another runner-up, who made an excellent showing although al-though a late starter, was Mi-s. Claire Morris, who placed third and received a cash bonus award. Mrs. Betty Bradshaw was in fourth place. All three of the leaders were present when a committee from the advisory board! of judges opened the sealed ballot box into which the contestants had been money during the final week of placing their subscriptions and the contest. These contents were checked by this committee, and added to previously declared totals nn to that time. These iudges were Frankie Nielsen, C. G. White and Bertell Bunker, well known business people of Sugar House and Holladay area. In addition to the above mentioned, men-tioned, all qthcr active participants partici-pants made cash earnings in proportion pro-portion to their production.
