Show ARTISTS HOLD EXHIBIT HERE Second annual outdoor exhibit sponsored by the Utah Federated Artists on the walls of the old prison site in Sugar House was held last Saturday, Sunday and Monday. One hundred thirty exhibits were displayed by approximately 30 artists. Two pieces entered were pottery and the rest paintings. According to Lynn Fausett, president of the federation, the organization expects to hold an annual exhibit on the walls of the prison until the park is completed, at which time there will be a fine arts building, where a continuous exhibit will be held, and displays kept of painting, sculpturing, applied ap-plied arts and crafts. Present officers of the Utah Federated Artists in addition to Mr. Fausett of Sugar House, are Vice President Glen Turner of Provo, Secretary LaVon Vincent Best, Treasurer Grace Solomon, Public Relations Chief Verla Ber- ille, and Exhibition Chairman Arno Stineke, all of Salt Lake. |
