Show BAIiK LUf!CIIEOH PROGHfln SEPTEMBER 11 Meeting for luncheon Thursday, September 11, at Beau Brummel will be about 25 members of the American Institute of Banking, one representative from each bank in the city. Purpose of the meeting is to acquaint representatives with the five classes in banking and related subjects being offered bank employes, em-ployes, according to Gordon C. Harwood, Institute president. Classes will be held in the Lay-fayette Lay-fayette school each Thursday evening eve-ning beginning October 2, and will continue for 28 weeks. The curriculum includes commercial com-mercial law, taught by attorney C. Nelson Day; Fundamentals of Banking with Jack W. Pike, assistant as-sistant vice president of the First Security Bank, as instructor; economics eco-nomics taught by Dr. Dilworth Walker of the U of U; consumer credit by Arthur Ridd, assistant vice president of Continental Bank, and effective speaking by Dr. Gail Plummer, manager of Kingsbury Hall. Joe Bond, First National Bank assistant cashier, is handling the luncheon arrangements. |
