Show CANYON RELIEF SOCIETY SALE TONIGHT Canyon Rim Relief Society is holding a bazaar tonight from 5 to 10 p.m., at East Mill Creek ward amusement hall, 27th East and Evergreen Avenue, according to Mrs. Paul G. Pugh, president. A chili supper is under the supervision super-vision of Mrs. V. J. McDonald and Mrs. Howard Ricks, co-chairmen. The supper includes fruit salad, rolls, drink and ice cream sundaes-on-a-stick. Among the many items for sale are baby quilts, hand-painted aprons, taffeta television aprons, children's printed percale pillow cases, several hundred doll clothes, etc. A fishpond will attract the children. Unique is the word for the taffeta television aprons, which automatically automat-ically become a sewing bag when the srings are pulled. Emphasis has been placed on making the articles available at moderate prices and just in time for gift-giving. Committee in charge of arrangements arrange-ments include Mrs. 1 Rulon Sherwood, Sher-wood, Mrs. Kenneth D. Reese, Mrs. Delbert T. London, Mrs. Duane Turnbow, Mrs. Richard Christiansen, Christian-sen, Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Ricks. Officers of the Relief Society are - Mrs. Pugh, president; Mrs. Stanley H. Cannon, education and employment placement counselor; Mrs. LeGrande Silver, work placement place-ment counselor, and Mrs. D. J. Isom, secretary. Sugar House merchants have contributed con-tributed valuable prizes which will be awarded at the conclusion of the evening's entertainment. Public is invited. |
