Show MR. FROG IN EMC SECOND GRADE ROOM East Mill Crek elementary school Parent-Teachers Association Associa-tion has designed a unique chart to stimulate parent's attendance at monthly P-TA meetings, according to Mrs. E. O. Thompson, president. The chart is be-ribboned to show each room's parental attendance and a jumping ceramic frog planter jumps from room to room as it is won by the various grades. Miss Charlen Ward's second grade class won the jumping frog for having attained the highest percentage of parents present at the November meeting, and so Mr. Frog is at home in this room until the next P-TA meeting on December De-cember 4. The contest chart, designed by Mrs. L. Roland Bain, vice president OI tne scnoui uiui, is muuiueu uu the cafeteria wall, but the frog planter jumps to the winning room after each meeting. The December parent-teacher confab, set for Thursday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m., will deal with leisure time televiewing. Lennox Murdock, "Television's Place and Purpose in KSL-TV manager, will discuss the Leisure Time of a Child." Mr. Murdock will also conduct a school-parent survey on the variety of programs viewed and the time spent watching television. The result re-sult of this "on the spot" study should prove helpful to both parents par-ents and teachers. Program committee chairman is Mrs. J. F. Dunyon assisted by Mrs. Paul L. Swenson, Mrs. D.
