Show Named on University Of Utah Committee Sherilyn Cox, 3340-9th East, has been nominated by the University of Utah for a Fulbright grant for study abroad. A senior majoring in journalism, Sherilyn is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin O. Cox, 3310-9th East. Sherilyn was scheduled this week to meet the state committee on the selection of Fulbright candidates for a personal interview. She is one oi tour University of Utah students stu-dents appearing before the committee. com-mittee. Eight other University of Utah students have been recommended for grants to the national Fulbright Ful-bright selections committee. Students Stu-dents who receive Fulbright grants will spend nine months in travel and study abroad. Sherilyn is a member of Mortar Board, society for senior women with outstanding records of scholarship and activity. She also is a member of the Air Force Sponsors Spon-sors Corps and Lambda Delta Sigma. She is a 1953 graduate of Granite High School, where she was editor of the yearbook, a student senator and a member of the Girls' Council. |
