Show COOPER TAKES COACHING JOB AT BOISE Gene Cooper, coach at Westminster Westmin-ster College since 1950, will leave the school to accept the position as head football coach at Boise high school. In confirming his acceptance of the job Coach Cooper said, "It is just too good a job to pass up, and by far the best high school job in Idaho, and really offers a challenge to me." He will take the job next fall, succeeding Ron Runyan, who is to continue as director of athletics and basketball. It is not the first time for Cooper ' to coach in Idaho schools as he was football coach at Southern Idaho College and coached at Hagerman high and Glenns Ferry. He was chosen for the new job from 41 applicants. He expects to complete a course at the University of Utah and move to the Idaho ' city in the fall. |
