Show HALlMfi TO HOLD GRAND OPENING The Halmar, newest ready-to-wear shop in Sugar House, opens its doors Friday in grand style, with Marie Freshman and Helen Ranson in charge. Situated at the northwest corner cor-ner of 21st South and 11th East, in the old Walgreen drug location, Halmar's will offer a $50,000 stock of top American lines for girls, teens, misses and women. Medium to better range prices will prevail in the new shop, one of the niftiest concerns in the fast-filling fast-filling north side of 21st South St. The newly redone biulding, designed de-signed by Noel Pool, architect, and constructed by Willard Montgomery, Montgom-ery, contractor, was completed this week at a cost in excess of $25,000. Sporstwear too, will be featured along with the latest styles for milady. Marie Freshman comes to Sugar House after a five year long job in downtown Salt Lake and 10 years in women's apparel in Detroit; De-troit; Helen Ranson has been a west coast buyer for seven years, and has been in the business 13 years in Florida. The public is corially invited in to the open house of the new shop set for this week end. |
